"Santa Barbara Winery" wooden basket

Dutch bicycle spotted near Stearn's Wharf

Have you seen wooden bike baskets in your community, or is this just a Santa Barbara trend? I know bicycles with wooden baskets are sold at Wheelhouse, and wondering if these baskets are sold separately as well. Very cool.

That's so classy, and on a Workcycles - yum!
I haven't seen that around Chicago that I can remember, but I love the look.
A few weeks ago I thrifted a really nice wine box just the perfect size to go on my back bicycle rack AND which I've been meaning to write up a post about;) ANY way I'd been looking forever for just such a wine box.
I should try to find Charlotte's (Chic Cyclist) post on back rack wine boxes...seems to be quite the thing and very stylish in Boston. There was even this guy who was selling them for awhile online.
I have seen a few wooden baskets around Boston, but it is by no means a trend here. I love the look. My only concern is: how well does it fare in the rain?
Love this post - I actually saw a guy (in a suit) recently in NYC with a vintage wooden Pepsi crate which made for a sweet looking basket.
This is also a bike company here in the city, Bowery Lane Bicycles, which has their custom wood crates that come on all their bikes!
